On May 19, the first overseas factory of Sennics in the Rojana Industrial Park, Chon Buri Province, Thailand was officially put into operation, to localize supply for the production bases of downstream customers in Southeast Asia. Moreover, by leveraging the geographical and business advantages of Thailand, the factory can expand its business to Southeast Asia and even the whole world, and constantly improve the stability of the company's global supply.
On the day, Sennics held the grand opening ceremony with the theme of "Glocal Growth, Excellent Partner" for Sennics Thailand through online/offline channels and live streaming. Su Fu, Vice President of Sinochem International and CEO of Sennics, Che Baozhen, President and CEO of Prinx Chengshan Holdings Limited (Prinx Chengshan), Zhang Yougan, General Manager of Prinx Chengshan Tire (Thailand) Limited (Prinx Thailand) and the representatives of partners attended the ceremony. Other staff at Sennics watched the live streaming to witness the important milestone.
At 10:20 a.m., Zhang Yougan, General Manager of Prinx Thailand, clicked the button for sending orders in the SAP system, Wu Libao, General Manager of Sennics Thailand, gave a remote instruction of delivering orders through the MES, and then the WMS carried out automatic sorting and distribution. The first batch of orders of Sennics Thailand were successfully delivered. All the staff witnessed the product delivery online, marking that Sennics Thailand initially realized digital operation and an agile supply chain.
On the day, the on-site guests visited the central control room, automatic packaging line, loading/unloading platform for delivery and other facilities of Sennics Thailand to personally experience the agile deliverability of the smart factory and discuss the future cooperation plans together. The guests spoke highly of Sennics' efforts in overcoming the impact of the pandemic, fully promoting the construction of the factory in Thailand and establishing high-quality products with high standards. They affirmed Sennics' operation and development roadmap focusing on customer services, innovating in business processes and building a smart factory, and expected to further strengthen cooperation and achieve win-win development in the future.
The Sennics Thailand project officially broke ground on March 9, 2020, and can produce 25,000 tons of rubber antioxidants annually. As the first overseas production base of Sennics, the factory of Sennics Thailand features "intelligence, green and sustainability", adopts an advanced concept of "low-carbon, energy-saving, green and environment-friendly", builds an integrated operation system under the guidance of Smart Sennics, and leverages information systems to efficiently match customer orders with production plans, raw material procurement, production process control, and sales and logistics distribution, striving to build a modern factory with an agile supply chain model.
Che Baozhen, President and CEO of Prinx Chengshan, extended his congratulations to Sennics Thailand on its successful operation. He said that over the years, Sennics' high-quality polymer additives have provided an important guarantee of raw materials for Prinx Chengshan to produce safe, stable and superior tires. After the inauguration, the Sennics Thailand project not only fills in the gap in rubber antioxidant production in Southeast Asian countries, but also localizes supply for overseas production bases of downstream partners, creating new opportunities for deepening the strategic cooperation between upstream and downstream industrial chains.
