On June 27, Sennics and Honeywell jointly held an activity with the theme of "Digitalizing the Fine Chemical Industry to Improve Enterprises' Sustainable Competitiveness" in Sennics Anhui, and invited more than 10 media representatives to visit the factory to personally experience Sennics' efficient operation management and intelligent production. Su Fu, Deputy General Manager of Sinochem International and CEO of Sennics, said that Honeywell's manufacturing execution system (MES) can not only help Sennics Anhui standardize its operation, streamline its production management process and improve its business management efficiency, but also improve collaborative operation across different departments and positions, thus to ensure the smooth implementation of the pilot informatization project for Sennics' intelligent factory.
November 2018, Honeywell signed a cooperation agreement with the SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem Group to facilitate the digital transformation of China's fine chemical industry. As a global high-tech enterprise, Honeywell actively supports the expansion of "smart+" proposed in Report on the Work of the Government 2019 to empower the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
Chen Yan, Vice President and General Manager of Process Control, Honeywell Greater China, said that, based on the characteristics of China's chemical industry, the MES is committed to helping related enterprises realize the digitization, automation and intelligentization of production process management and achieve lean, informationized, transparent and intelligent production management on the same platform. At the conference, the two companies also accepted interviews on issues of interest to journalists.
