On November 5, during the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, Sinochem Group Co., Ltd. ("Sinochem Group") and China National Chemical Corporation ("ChemChina)") jointly held a special signing ceremony, during which Sennics signed a letter of intent with Honeywell for cooperation on digital transformation. The signing of the letter of intent aims to further deepen the strategic partnership between the two companies and facilitate each other's effort to build a benchmark of "enabling the transformation of global fine chemical enterprises with digital technologies".
According to the letter of intent, Sennics will team up with Honeywell to explore factory digitalization by implementing advanced concepts and technologies such as key indicators rationalization, alarm optimal management, PID loop optimization and setting and advanced process control (APC). The aim is to further strengthen data application in the production management of the factory, create a new data-driven working model, and accelerate the digital transformation of the factory. In addition, Sennics will also carry out broader comprehensive strategic cooperation with Honeywell in production safety, green and eco-friendly operation, supply chain logistics management, lean management, talent development and technological innovation.
As the company pushes ahead with its digital innovation and strategic transformation, Sennics has been committed to adopting more smart and information technologies, striving to achieve its upgrade goals with the digital, smart and service-focused strategy centering around Smart Sennics, and building the company into an agile and efficient smart organization, so as to make the company more competitive. Honeywell now providers several factories of Sennics with advanced intelligent production management execution system (MES) as well as Honeywell Excellence System (HES).
